We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthy Workplace Advisor to join our team at the University of Regina. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting a healthy, safe, and productive work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective return-to-work strategies and programs to support employees with injuries or illnesses.
- Provide expert guidance on disability management, workers' compensation, and occupational health and safety.
- Collaborate with employees, management, and union representatives to identify and address workplace health and safety concerns.
- Design and deliver educational programs and workshops on workplace health and wellness, including stress management, ergonomics, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Conduct workplace assessments and provide recommendations for improving workplace health and safety.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as nursing, health sciences, or occupational health and safety.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in disability claims management, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
