Job Description:Work Setting:

Our hospital or home for the aged setting offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for our Graduate Nurses.

Tasks:
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Deliver health education programs to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:

Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities is required for this position.

Security and Safety:

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, and the ability to work under pressure.
