Job Summary

Lifemark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health and Wellness Nurse Lead to support the national delivery of employer services programs in Ontario and across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical nurse expertise and knowledge in the development, delivery, and evaluation of programs.
  • Provide direct nursing services to clients as assigned, including preplacement nursing assessments, audiometric, vision, and pulmonary function screening, immunization clinics, and biometric clinics.
  • Maintain positive communication with clients internally and externally.
  • Work collaboratively with the Occupational Health and Wellness teams and national staff.
  • Organize and coordinate various assessments and testing, as well as projects as assigned.
  • Conduct research as required in relation to Employer Services, as assigned.
  • Update Sharepoint on clinical services, processes, and protocols.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in a clinical nursing position.
  • Occupational Health audiometric, vision, and pulmonary function testing/certification is an asset.
  • Experience in biometric screening and flu immunization clinic delivery and coordination is an asset.
  • Knowledge of occupational health legislation is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong computer literacy knowledge.
  • Registered Nurse in good standing with their college.
  • Prefer a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience.
  • Experience with training and development, coaching, and project management is an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French languages is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car.
  • Drug and alcohol testing certifications are considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications

This role requires the ability to remain highly organized with excellent time management. Expertise in training nurses one-on-one and in groups, along with training/webinar development experience, is preferred. Additional qualifications include proficiency with utilizing Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel at an intermediate-advanced level, and presenting with a positive, friendly approach to training and coaching other nurses.
