Job Title: Sales Territory Manager

As a Sales Territory Manager at Briggs & Stratton, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the profitable sale of a broad range of Allmand products through consultative selling to customers in an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales and Marketing: Present sales and marketing programs to secure new and existing orders from customers.
  2. Customer Service: Maintain a level of service and communication with customers through regular and consistent call cycles, including phone contact and personal visits.
  3. Territory Development: Recruit new customers based on market potential and company strategy and objectives.
  4. Collaboration: Interface with assigned management and support personnel for consistent communication, customer support, implementation of company programs, and achievement of territory and company goals.
  5. Analysis and Reporting: Review and analyze sales and marketing data to promote sales, determine customer needs, and provide forecasting information.
  6. Advertising and Merchandising: Promote the sell-thru of customer commitments through advertising, planning, and implementation of group ad campaigns, and promoting individual customer advertising and sound merchandising practices.
Requirements:
  1. Industry Knowledge: Solid knowledge of the equipment industry and green energy standards and solutions.
  2. Analysis and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze sales trends to identify alternatives that will maximize sales opportunities.
  3. Technical Skills: Solid computer skills, including understanding of sales software systems, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  4. Organizational Skills: Solid organizational skills.
  5. Language Skills: Fluency in English and French.
  6. Driver's License: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Minimum of three years of experience in a sales or customer service environment.
