Job Summary

Advance Sheet Metal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and welding.
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Material Handling and Preparation
    • Determine weldability of materials and prepare them for welding.
    • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure all fabricated and welded parts meet quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities
    • Organized and detail-oriented.
    • Team player with excellent communication skills.
