About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at ADP Transport Ltd. as a Fabrication Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications and operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication of metal components.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate metal components, including operating brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment to safely move and position metal components.
  • Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
Work Environment

As a Welder at ADP Transport Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dusty and hot environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe working environment.
