We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SQ Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that buildings and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and facilities to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance costs.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully supervising and coordinating maintenance staff.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
Working Conditions:
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 30-40 hours per week.
