Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, coordinating food preparation, maintaining quality control, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers to requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Train and develop kitchen staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory position.
- Degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field (CEGEP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and menu planning.
