Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at NANIAN GROUP LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
  • Obtain Permits and Documents: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Perform Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, as well as perform preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Record Information: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of [insert experience] years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
