Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

At HARROOP TRUCKING LTD., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country, working closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a commercial vehicle to transport goods across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, performing routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Load and unload goods, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on the road.
