About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Bouthillette Parizeau. As a Mechanical Engineer for Building Projects, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating technical projects in building mechanics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and coordinate technical projects in building mechanics
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to develop solutions tailored to client needs and deliver projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential) in building mechanics
  • Conduct site visits with a mentor to gather information about existing installations
  • Analyze, design, and adapt mechanical installations related to building mechanics
  • Participate in estimating construction costs
  • Contribute to writing proposals and technical reports
  • Provide assistance with site supervision
  • Perform other related tasks, including administrative duties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialized in building) or Building Engineering
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Ontario
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering consulting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and excellent communication skills
  • Leadership and exceptional customer service skills
