Business Overview

Superior Propane - QC is seeking a highly skilled Business Director to lead our financial operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting data and information to enhance the financial and operational performance of the organization. Your tasks will include developing the business plan, financial forecasts, and variance analysis, as well as proposing action plans and strategies to ensure that objectives are achieved. You will also act as a business partner to regional managers and supervise a team responsible for regional financial and administrative transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpreting data and information to enhance the financial and operational performance of the organization.
  • Developing the business plan, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Proposing action plans and strategies to ensure that objectives are achieved.
  • Acting as a business partner to regional managers.
  • Supervising a team responsible for regional financial and administrative transactions.

Requirements
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English is required.
  • University degree in a related field.
  • CPA designation (required).
  • 5+ years accounting experience.
  • Previous supervisory skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills are essential for this position, including Microsoft Excel. Exposure to Workday ERP system is considered an advantage.
  • Understanding and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
