About the Role

Englobe is seeking a skilled Automation and Controls Professional to join our team in Edmonton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation and control systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation and control systems for various industrial processes.
  • Develop and maintain software and hardware systems for automation and control.
  • Provide industry-leading services to our clients in Northern Alberta.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.

Your Profile

  • Diploma or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
  • Field experience is an asset.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with APEGA/ASET.
  • Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
  • Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
  • Experience with a variety of automation software and hardware systems.
  • Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
  • Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  • Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
