Global Mobility Tax Manager, Canadian and US Markets

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Mobility Tax Manager to join our team in Canada. This role will provide compliance-related tax services to our clients, including tax returns, tax projections, and tax equalizations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a public accounting firm specializing in personal Canadian and US tax, as well as expertise in cross-border Canada-US payroll matters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead small and medium-sized client engagements, providing tax compliance management services, including Canadian and US personal tax, tax returns, tax projections, and tax equalizations.
- Manage all aspects of international assignment programs for clients, working closely with partners, executive directors, and senior managers.
- Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness, providing ongoing support and mentoring for their professional development.
- Work with other office members on global clients and proposals, utilizing strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and clients.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a public accounting firm specializing in personal Canadian and US tax, with expertise in cross-border Canada-US payroll matters.
- Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual French and English (required) to work and communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec.
- Enthusiasm and desire to learn, with organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with excellent client service skills and understanding of clients' businesses.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, based on industry standards and market conditions. However, this figure may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
