Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Occupational Health and Safety Administrator to join our team at our headquarters in Ottawa, ON.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the health and safety programs by assisting with accident forms, compiling documents for case files, and answering general inquiries.
  • Track, follow up on, and update compliance and certification requirements.
  • Assist the Health and Safety committee in maintaining the Health and Safety Program.
  • Stay up-to-date with H&S legislation and actively promote a culture of excellence.
  • Manage the database related to site inspections and track required training for employees.
  • Participate in accident investigations and assist with the accident and injury reporting system.
Requirements
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a must.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related program.
  • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of Health and Safety Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance.
