Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with our Mental Health Clinical OT Lead to provide high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients with mental health conditions, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with our Mental Health Clinical OT Lead to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client strengths, needs, and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote client independence, self-esteem, and overall well-being.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health topics and strategies for managing mental health conditions.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
  • Experience working with clients with mental health conditions, preferably in a psychotherapy and mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic medical records and other software applications.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
