Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team at HI-TECHTRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods over long distances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment while transporting goods, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, flexibility, organized, reliability, professionalism in customer service.
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, sitting, overtime required.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
