Job Title: Radiation Oncology Physician
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncology Physician to join our team at BC Cancer. As a Radiation Oncology Physician, you will work with a team of specialized radiation oncologists and allied health professionals to provide high-quality care to patients with cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of radiation oncologists and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer.
- Participate in the ambulatory care treatment and follow-up of patients.
- Support in-patient care of patients receiving treatment.
Requirements:
- Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Royal Jubilee Hospital.
- Eligibility for appointment to the University of British Columbia.
- In-patient and oncology experience is an asset, but not required.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
- Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting indigenous communities.
