Financial Controller Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team at CB Canada. This is a full-time/permanent role that offers a competitive salary, full benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Controller in the direction, supervision, and development of the Accounting team.
- Manage a broad spectrum of accounting activities, including the monthly and year-end closing process to support the issuance of timely and complete financial statements.
- Assist with external auditors as needed and completion of tax filings.
- Prepare year-end working paper files and support continuous improvement initiatives of the Accounting team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Thorough understanding of financial reporting and year-end filing.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
