About the Role

CAMMY HOMES LTD. is currently hiring a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to ensure that our homes meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a durable finish.
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets to meet specific requirements.
  • Positioning and securing sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure stability.
  • Smoothing out excess compound and allowing coats to dry to achieve a professional finish.
  • Taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound.
