Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS, with experience in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Prepare and review external statutory financial statements, including all note disclosures, for legal entities in accordance with IFRS.
  • Act as a liaison with external audit firms for planning, interim, and annual audits.
  • Oversee the reporting of monthly financial results and distribution of management packs to parent company, Board members, and executive leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience with SAP and Cognos is an asset.
