**Responsibilities**:
About the role:

- Act as liaison with other GM Financial departments and provide support and monthly reports as needed.
- Document compliance with company policies, procedures and SOX controls (EUCA).
- Support Canadian AutoSuite defect management, enhancement and process development management. Including routine and non-routine reporting and analysis based on AutoSuite transactions and processing.
- Assist in Sales Tax compliance and documentation.
- Assist in quarterly / annual preparation of Income Tax schedules.
- Assist in resolving reconciliations as needed.
- Assist in the preparation reports based on analysis and historical information and performs monthly audits on various reports used by Finance for reporting purposes.
- Proficient with Excel, and other Microsoft Office products

Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of Oracle GL System and AutoSuite (Auto Finance and Default Manager) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills with good organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A working knowledge of US GAAP preferred.

**Experience**:

- Secondary School required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance preferred.
- Enrolled in, or completion of, CPA Program preferred.
- 1-2 years accounting experience in a or related field preferred.

**Salary**: The base salary range for this role is: CAD $25.33 to $45.59 per hour. At GM Financial, we strive for transparency in all aspects of our business, including pay equity. This is the GM Financial pay range for this role and job level. The exact salary and compensation will vary based on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits after 30 days of employment.
