We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in the management of cardiorespiratory and related disorders, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Respiratory Therapy program from an accredited institution
- Canadian Board of Respiratory Care Exams certification
- Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
- BCLS certification
- ACLS certification (an asset)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competencies in other languages (an asset, French preferred)
This is a permanent full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. You will be compensated at a rate of $40.66 hourly, with opportunities for benefits and a defined benefit pension plan.
