We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at DESI MANDI. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe and healthy manner.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all food preparation and presentation areas are clean and safe.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
