We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at The Pearle Hotel and Spa. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent service to our guests.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
- Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve our culinary goals.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Catering firm or similar environment.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
