About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Data Analyst Lead to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. In this key leadership role, you will provide expertise in managing and analyzing large volumes of data to support decision making and monitor performance across the supply chain portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with the NSH Supply Chain team to combine their fundamental understanding of supply chain and customer needs with expert skills in IT-driven systems. This includes providing leadership to analyst teams, collaborating with the Supply Chain Management team on provincial scope issues, and supporting consistency in practices across NSH.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to analyst teams and manage large amounts of data to extract critical points
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Management team to drive performance and consistency across the business
  • Forge partnerships with other functional areas to drive performance across the business
  • Develop and implement data analysis strategies to support decision making
  • Manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines to deliver high-quality results
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering, or other relevant fields
  • Minimum three years' experience in a supply chain analytical role working with large volumes of complex information
  • Project management certification and Lean certification are assets
  • Experience supervising staff and coaching to achieve high levels of performance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

We offer a competitive salary range of $35.27 - $44.09 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a defined benefit pension plan.
