Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at Pelican Events & Catering. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment and Selection: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post job notices, collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms.
- Employee Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process, including preparing job offers, notifying applicants of results, and arranging interviews.
- HR Administration: Perform administrative tasks, such as record keeping, scheduling, and basic bookkeeping.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in MS Windows, electronic mail, human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and external partners.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
