Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to lead our sales team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire their team to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and ensure that it is delivered to the store in a timely manner.
- Authorize return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that they are communicated clearly to all staff members.
- Sell merchandise and ensure that all sales are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters and present them to management.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory and ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
