Job Summary

The Director, Global Operations Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the Global Operations project portfolio, including facilitating annual prioritization, business case review and funding, project governance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Global Operations project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio prioritization model, recommending de-risking actions through data-driven analysis.
  • Facilitate the development, review, and approval of business cases, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and Global Finance policies and standards.
  • Monitor and track project costs and benefits realization across the portfolio, working closely with GO Finance and EPMO.
  • Identify and escalate overall portfolio risk to GO Executives, providing regular financial updates on project spend, forecast, and trends.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized online information hub for GO PMO documentation, providing training, guidance, and coaching within IT to improve project capacity and capability.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills, with a solid understanding of project performance measurement tools and criteria.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, with strong organizational, managerial, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Good people skills, with the ability to foster a positive work environment that values teamwork and provides a productive, enjoyable, and satisfying experience for all staff.
  • Exemplary customer service, including professional advice and creative solutions.
  • Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines with multiple priorities.
  • Strong team management, with MS Office, superior MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Familiarity with GL systems and data, time tracking tools, and project management tools.
  • Business, Financial reporting, or accounting degrees preferred.
