Job Title: Global Operations Director

Amphenol ICC is seeking a highly experienced Global Operations Director to lead our manufacturing operations across all global sites. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our manufacturing operations, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate objectives, and driving significant growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the planning and execution of new product introductions, ensuring a smooth transition to full-scale production while meeting cost targets and customer expectations.
  2. Direct and coordinate operations across plants globally.
  3. Develop and implement consistent operational procedures and practices globally, including manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
  4. Advocate for and implement environmental, health, and safety (EHS) best practices across all sites to reduce workplace injuries and maximize environmental impact.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years in manufacturing management with rich knowledge of electronic or mechanical parts, preferably within telecom or the industrial manufacturing industry.
  • University degrees in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Science, or Engineering Management.
  • Proven track record of building manufacturing organizations.
  • Possesses knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 and common manufacturing improvement methodologies such as 5S, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
  • Experience in improving operational effectiveness and managing diverse groups.
  • Frequent travel to Asia – fluency in Mandarin an asset.
  • Experience in capacity management, supply-chain planning, or similar.
  • Strong analytics and data analysis skills.
