FUTURE-TECH CANADA is seeking a skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of sales workers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory levels.

About this role

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving sales growth. A strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and resolve conflicts effectively is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, including assigning duties and providing guidance as needed.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage inventory levels to minimize losses and maximize profits.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
