Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the business budget, ensuring cash flow, revenue, and profitability targets are met.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage employee payroll and benefits programs, as well as recruit, hire, train, and perform ongoing employee performance management.
  • Create and improve operational processes and systems for employee performance, customer service, sales, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Measure and manage customer acquisition, retention, and growth, ensuring an exceptional in-store experience.
  • Develop and implement ongoing training programs to enhance staff knowledge and align team goals with the store's mission.
Requirements
  • Previous experience managing a retail store, preferably in the sports or outdoor industry.
  • Experience with retail management software and the ability to implement technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in store operations.
  • Ability to analyze sales trends, market conditions, and financial reports to make informed decisions that drive profitability.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on sales growth, customer engagement, and community outreach.
