Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our Patient Support Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining staffing operations, processing employee requests, and upholding accurate systems for tracking staff shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing records and reports
  • Process employee vacation requests and secure coverage for vacancy shifts
  • Coordinate with Team Leaders on new staff onboarding and training schedules
  • Track and document staff training and development
  • Carry out payroll functions for large Corporate Services groups
  • Work with Team Leaders and Managers to verify payroll accuracy
  • Create and manage schedules for all Corporate Services groups
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Secondary school graduate, and Business/Office Admin education preferred
  • Minimum two year relevant experience in payroll and scheduling in a unionized environment preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills, handling sensitive issues and problem solving with tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and Meditech)
  • Excellent analytical and leadership skills required
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple demands in a fast paced environment
  • Proven organizational and team work skills
  • Demonstrated good work and attendance record required
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and scheduling practices required
  • Knowledge of scheduling software's is an asset
