About the Role:

Modinno Dwellings Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Survey building locations and levels.
  • Supervise other workers.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
