Radiology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team at South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. This is a 3-month temporary appointment position in diagnostic radiology, with the potential for extension to 6 months or longer.
The successful candidate will work alongside 5 radiologists to provide diagnostic imaging services to the hospital, Queen's General Hospital, and Fisherman Memorial Hospital, as well as call coverage.
South Shore Regional Hospital is a primary and secondary care hospital and designated district trauma centre, with 85 inpatient beds and a range of medical and surgical services.
The ideal candidate will have certification with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic imaging services, including CT, ultrasound, x-ray, mammography, and nuclear medicine
- Perform various image-guided procedures
- Be responsible to the Zone Department of Radiology for professional responsibilities and quality of practice
- Provide hospital and call support as required
- Contribute to administrative responsibilities as assigned
