Job Title: Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to join our team at PBS Systems Inc. As a key member of our Dealer Training and Support team, you will be responsible for providing expert training and support to our customers on our Dealer Management System (DMS).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, preferably in the parts or service area of a dealership. You will be responsible for learning and developing an understanding of our DMS software, as well as the process for training customers on the system. You will also be required to travel frequently to customer sites throughout North America to provide on-site training and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and develop an understanding of our DMS software
  • Develop and deliver training programs for customers on our DMS software
  • Provide on-site training and support to customers at their dealership locations
  • Assist customers with data entry and other key tasks
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying their needs and ensuring they are being met or exceeded
  • Respond to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise and escalate issues to the corresponding teams
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
  • Experience in the parts or service area of a dealership preferred
  • 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment or PBS is preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective time management & organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking & prioritization
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month; proof of valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable) and valid full class driver's license is required
