Job Title: Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to join our team at PBS Systems Inc. As a key member of our Dealer Training Organization (DTO), you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support and training to our customers on our Dealer Management Software (DMS).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for learning and developing an in-depth understanding of our PBS software, as well as the process for training customers on our DMS. You will work closely with our customers to provide virtual training, online and on the phone, and assist with onsite training as required. Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and develop an in-depth understanding of our PBS software and the process for training customers on our DMS
  • Provide exceptional support and training to our customers on our DMS
  • Work closely with our customers to identify their needs and provide tailored training solutions
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our customers, ensuring their needs are met or exceeded
  • Respond to both internal and external training requests in a timely manner
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, escalating them to the corresponding teams as needed
  • Contribute to the development of our training materials and processes
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
  • Experience in the parts or service area of a dealership is preferred
  • 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or PBS is preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective time management & organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking & prioritization
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month; proof of valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable) and valid full class driver's license is required
