The Senior Clinical Program Director - Seniors Health is a key leadership position at Unity Health Toronto Providence HealthCare, responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and delivery of clinical programs for seniors. This role requires a strong background in healthcare management, with a focus on program development, quality improvement, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior operational leadership for the Seniors Health program, ensuring alignment with Unity Health Toronto's strategic objectives.
- Direct and align clinical operations to effectively achieve program goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of program strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
- Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics for the program.
- Champion a culture of excellence, quality, and patient safety within the program.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including physicians, community partners, and other healthcare organizations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure program compliance and excellence.
- Master's degree in nursing or a related health discipline.
- Regulated health professional with certification in good standing from the relevant regulatory body.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a rehabilitation or complex care setting.
- Experience in leadership roles, with a focus on program management, quality improvement, and patient-centered care.
- Strong knowledge of program management concepts, including strategic planning, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
