Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team at 468 Fahrenheit. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for planning and executing menus that showcase your creativity and expertise.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess excellent leadership skills. You will work closely with our team to determine food portion sizes, plan menus, and estimate food requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, preparing complete meals or individual dishes, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, ordering supplies and equipment, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory and records, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
