About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sangam Sweets & Curry Express Inc. as a key member of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Team Leadership: Manage kitchen operations, and provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure they meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.

  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods.
