About the Role

The Sr. Inventory Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of resource management for a team of material control professionals at L3Harris Technologies. This position manages the inventory flow of material from initial receipt to finished product transfer to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data to inform inventory management decisions.
  • Contribute to the management of the organization's inventory, shipping, and receiving processes to ensure controls are in place to support corporate policies and procedures.
  • Provide critical financial information related to demand, inventory levels, and revenue.
  • Manage Inventory Control tasks that support CMII.
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators for inventory levels and work in progress.
  • Monitor and review timely delivery of material to support production build plans.
  • Implement processes to reduce inventory levels and promote lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives related to production control and material handling.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory cycle count programs and year-end WIP counts.
  • Establish and evaluate department measures in accordance with QCS (Quality, Cost, and Schedule) standards.
  • Ensure the safe storage and control of inventory at all times.
  • Manage scrap material and related material control processes.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Operations Management.
  • Proven leadership and supervision experience in a fast-paced materials team environment.
  • CPIM Certification through APICS or equivalent is desired.
  • Experience in Master Scheduling roles is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience using MRP and ERP systems.
