Clinical Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide clinical social work services to clients and their families, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Client Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Clinical Counseling and Therapy: Provide evidence-based clinical counseling and therapy services to clients, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Community Resource Development: Develop and maintain relationships with community resources, including healthcare services, social services, and support groups, to ensure clients have access to necessary services and support.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research activities and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and evidence-based care.
- Education and Experience: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of Social Work, with a minimum of two years' experience in a mental health treatment setting.
- Registration and Certification: Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
- Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of mental health issues, clinical counseling skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
