Description

Are you a gamer looking to leverage your native language skills? PTW Montreal is seeking a French Canadian Localization QA Game Tester to join our team.

This role involves testing unreleased games to ensure their localized version meets our high standards. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will be responsible for:

  • Proofreading and identifying French language errors
  • Ensuring console manufacturer guidelines are met
  • Writing reports of all errors/bugs found to help improve the game
  • Providing feedback on the game to enhance its overall quality
  • Identifying missing or incorrect content to ensure a smooth gaming experience
  • Performing ad hoc translations as needed

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Native-level proficiency in French, with a thorough understanding of the content within games in the French language
  • Strong cultural understanding of North America
  • Excellent proficiency in English, with the ability to comprehend and interpret internal documentation from our international clients
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
