Role Overview


PTW is seeking a skilled French EU Localization QA Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality in our French EU localized games by testing and identifying errors in language, format, and overall user experience.


Key Responsibilities



  • Proofread and identify language errors in French EU games
  • Verify that games adhere to console manufacturer guidelines
  • Write detailed reports of errors and bugs found to improve game quality
  • Provide feedback on game content to enhance the overall user experience
  • Ensure game content is complete and accurate by identifying missing or incorrect elements
  • Perform occasional translations to support game localization

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Native-level proficiency in French EU, with a thorough understanding of the language and culture
  • Excellent proficiency in English to comprehend and interpret internal documentation
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Previous experience with software and applications is an asset

Are you a gamer looking to take advantage of your native language? Look no further, PTW-Montreal is looking for French EU Localization QA Testers Be the first to see the localized version of the unreleased games by testing them out yourself

 


Key Responsibilities



  • Proofreading and identifying French EU language errors
  • Ensuring console manufacturer guidelines are on point
  • Writing reports of all the errors/bugs you found to help improve the game
  • Get your voice heard by providing feedback on the game
  • Make sure the game runs smooth by identifying missing/wrong content
  • Performing ad hoc translations

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Native-level proficiency in French EU is mandatory, as the position requires a thorough understanding of the content within games in the French EU language, as specified by client requests
  • Strong understanding of European French culture
  • Excellent proficiency in English is essential, as the role involves comprehending and interpreting internal documentation from our esteemed international clients
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience with using different software and applications
