We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Technician to join our team at BBE Expediting Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the operational logistics of the organization, including planning and organizing the movement of goods.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse and production units, ensuring smooth operation and efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, providing insights into the performance of the logistics team.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring that all team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Keep track of shipments, ensuring that all goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of dispatch management service software, monitoring and tracking software, and electronic schedulers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
