Job Title: Freight Forwarding Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Technician to join our team at BBE Expediting Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and coordinate the movement of goods, including planning and executing transportation routes.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including managing inventory and tracking shipments.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, including coordinating with suppliers and customers.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, including warehouse and production units.
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments.
  • Prepare and submit reports on shipment status and inventory levels.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
Requirements:
  • Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate.
  • Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
