About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team at HUB International Canada West ULC (Canada West). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients, identifying new business opportunities, and developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow our commercial client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their risk management and insurance needs
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue and close new sales
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, account managers, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to ensure we remain competitive and innovative in our approach
  • Provide exceptional client service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed about company initiatives, products, and services
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, as established by management
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial sales, account management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field an asset
