Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Vancouver. This role offers the opportunity to lead electrical design projects and take on leadership duties within our office.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in electrical building services engineering design, with a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards. They will be able to independently complete engineering analysis and design of electrical systems, as well as liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical design of small, medium, and large-scale building projects
  • Take on leadership duties within our office, contributing to growth and success in the Vancouver market
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical building services engineering design, with at least 5+ years in Canada
  • Established experience across the full project lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of relevant electrical codes and standards
  • Ability to independently complete engineering analysis and design of electrical systems
  • Ability to verify design work completed by others and provide mentoring, coaching, and training to less experienced engineers
