About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at 1011166 BC Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of well-being and dignity.
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home or home for the aged.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
