Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Comfort Keepers. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving.
  • Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration.
  • Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers.
  • Provide basic first aid and respond to emergencies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-7 months of experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
Work Environment:

Our clients receive care in their own homes, and as a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be working in a variety of settings, including private homes and community centers.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in this role.

Hours of Work:

30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts.
